Templeton

There are no doubts that this is a farming community. A grain elevator in the middle of town, a hardware and pump store, and a wind generator as you come in to town.
As with other small towns, there's also a sense of community that is warm and generous. The deli owner that knows all his customers, the families playing together in the park.

The only town on El Camino Real named for a person rather than a saint, Templeton was founded in 1886. The West Coast Land Company sent R.R. Harris to survey and lay out business and residential lots and 5-12 acre parcels
