This Preschool program is for full growth of a child?s capabilities in utilizing creative media, scientific investigation, experimentation & discovery, rhythm & movement, whole body activities, social interaction, life skills training, Bible teachings with personal application and participative prayer.

We also include age-appropriate computer use as well as reading programs, which include letter & number recognition, writing & pre-writing skills, shape & color recognition.

Weekly themes (such as Manners or Community Helpers ) are introduced along with a a weekly letter and a monthly color, number and shape.

Our preschoolers are divided into two age-appropriate classes:
                 Early Learners 2's and 3's
                 Pre-Kindergarten 4's and 5's

Preschool Full-Day Care includes a combination of our Preschool program and our Preschool Day care Program. This program provides care for our students in a safe & loving environment that have parents with a full-time schedule.

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten curriculum is A Beka - a Christian program based in Pensacola, FL. It includes studies in Phonics & Reading, Math & Numbers, Handwriting, Science, Social Studies and Bible. We also include age-appropriate computer use, small motor & large motor activities. There is a yearly "Book Fee" as well as a yearly "Supply Fee" due before school begins.

Parents are required to attend any scheduled parent meeting.

Before School Care

K - 6th grade

For early work schedules, our Center opens at 7:00 AM. Parents may schedule a Dial-A-Ride pick-up to take their children to school on a "space available" basis.

After Kindergarten

Before & After School Care. For children attending our Kindergarten Class as well as Public Kindergarten. Parents will need to schedule their children for a bus pick-up and drop off from school to Sonshine. (Monarch Grove and Sunnyside students can schedule the Regular School Bus, Baywood School students must schedule Dial-A-Ride.

School-Age Care

1st - 6th Grade

After School

After School quality care and education. Our program is designed to reinforce what is being taught in school, encourage good study habits and to nurture our students' spiritual as well as academic growth. We will provide a daily homework hour for our students, and teacher assistance will be given to students needing help. Parents will need to schedule their children fo r a bus pick-up and drop off from school to Sonshine. (see note above)

Kid's Klub

K - 6th Grade

Full Time Care for K - 6th grade. Full time care for K - 6th grade is call Kids Klub. Kid?s Klub is in session when San Luis Coastal Unified School District is closed and we are normally open on holidays and during summer vacation.
