Los Osos Oaks State Reserve is a 90 acre trail and preserve just east of Los Osos on Los Osos Valley Road.

This area was purchased in 1972 by funding and grants obtained through the efforts of the Small Wilderness Area Preservation foundation, Dart Industries, Inc. and the Federal Land and water Conservation Fund.

Los Osos Oaks Preserve is located on Los Osos Valley Road just west of the Bear on the South side of the road across the just passed the First Baptist Church if you?re heading toward Los Osos..

It's easy to miss, so keep an eye out for the sign.

Here's the start to the trail. Just after the entrance it splits three ways, although the right two loop.

Caution: Lots of Poison Oak off trail. The trail itself is kept clear though.

This one is hard to miss.

There's a parking lot with two driveways for parking. No facilities here, bring your own and remember to pack it out.
