Situated right next to the town of Cayucos, this beach is a favorite for those in-the-know. It's a regular destination for people as close as the Central Valley and as far away as Europe.

Walking the pier gives you a great view of the area, as well as feeding sea lions and some occasional pilot whales. During the winter storms you can often see surfers diving off the end rather than paddling out to the waves.

A few motels and restaurants are located here, but make reservations as early as possible.

Cambria, the Hearst Castle and Morro Rock are all just a few miles away.
