If you're looking for nature, peace, and quiet not far from home, this is it.

Located off of Highway 41 between Atascadero and Morro Bay, this small camp area offers real solitude. The camp areas mostly consist of a parking and camping spot and an outhouse. I didn't see water, but I didn't look hard.

There's a stream that runs through the camp area. There's a small trail area at the top of the roadway. I'll get photographs later. There's not much else to do here that I saw.

It's a bit dark here. Steep hills and trees on both sides of the roadway mean shadows are everywhere. I was there around 3:00 in the afternoon and you can see all the photos are mostly in the shade.
