There are three parks on Highway 101 between Ventura and Santa Barbara. Hobson R.V. park, Rincon R.V. park, and Fariah County Beach Park.
Hobson County Beach Park is the furthest north of the three, though all three are close.
While there are some day parking spots, the park is primarily an R.V. park. In fact, the park brochure says that there are no picnic facilities available.
The web site states that there 10 sites with full hook-ups, but if there are I didn't see them. It also says Faria has four sites with hook-ups, and I saw quite a few there, so I think the web site may be reversed. And I'd guess that one of the sites is reserved for the camp host.
The driveway drops down to the park, but you are going to get noise from the Parkway, Highway 101, and the train tracks. But camping on the beach for what was $38 a night when I was there is a great opportunity.
If you go off season try to get hold of one of their brochures. It's one of those Southeast Publications brochures with advertising, but has good maps and a $4 a night off coupon.
Facilities.
There are restrooms, showers, firepits, water, and food and supplies at a park store (seasonal). If I remember right, you're not allowed to hook-up to the water.
