El Chorro Regional Park

Summary:

El Chorro Regional Park is a county managed park off Highway 1 between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay.

This park is best known for Dairy Creek Golf course, the off-leash dog park and annual Garden Show.

It's located in a somewhat arid, hilly area but has hiking trails that go back into the hills. There are both camping pads with full services and primitive camp spots where you can simply pitch a tent.
